Welcome to my blog and the newest challenge at Just Add Ink. Have a look at the fabulous colours we have for you to play along with! I ADORE these colours!
Straight away I thought baby card when I saw these colours. My friend Paula recently demonstrated how to use up scraps on your cards. I thought it would be a great way to use some of my Basic Gray and Smoky Slate off cut pieces. The Shimmery White Cardstock in the background has been watercoloured with Smoky Slate Ink. I then cut a panel out of the background and layered the off cut pieces. I matted each side of the Shimmery White Cardstock with a thin strip of Rococo Rose Cardstock.
I then coloured my all time favourite image for a baby card – this sweet lil rabbit from Fable Friends. I wasn’t finished there. I die cut two trees with the Majestic Mountain Dies in Smoky Slate and Basic Gray Cardstocks. A sentiment from Fable Friends was added and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel for that bling-y touch.
